This is a significant step in our commitment to exploring and showcasing the diverse offerings of this esteemed wine region.
We are thrilled to introduce wines from Domaines Paul Jaboulet Aîné, a name synonymous with quality and tradition. Among the highlights is the renowned Domaine de Thalabert, which is celebrated for being situated in the oldest vineyard of the Crozes-Hermitage appellation. This exceptional site has yielded wines with a storied history and a reputation for excellence. Additionally, we are proud to include the Parallèle 45 Côtes du Rhône, available in both Blanc and Rouge varieties, which represent the original and oldest brand within the Côtes-du-Rhône category.
Domaines Paul Jaboulet Aîné was established in 1834 and has since become a powerhouse in the northern Rhône Valley, cultivating iconic terroirs across seven distinguished appellations. Since 2006, this esteemed estate has been under the stewardship of the Frey family. Under the expert guidance of winemaker Caroline Frey, the team employs innovative and sustainable viticulture techniques tailored to the unique landscapes that define their heritage. Their dedication extends beyond winemaking; the Frey family is also recognized as pioneers in biodiversity. They have developed a nine-hectare wildlife reserve aimed at preserving the local ecosystem, demonstrating a genuine commitment to environmental stewardship.
Domaines Paul Jaboulet Aîné's vineyards received organic certification (AB) in 2016, a significant move towards sustainability. Building on this foundation, the estate has embraced biodynamic practices since 2021, implementing a regenerative approach to viticulture. This transformation reflects their deep respect for the land and a desire to enhance the natural ecosystems that influence their wines.
The unique variety of soils and the complexity of the terroirs within the region play an instrumental role in shaping the distinct character of the wines produced. Caroline Frey is committed to crafting exceptional wines that represent their origins' essence.
